Listen to the kind words of Jude and Kelley Goldman as they talk about what kind of help the Washington County LDC provided them as the owners started their business, Puckers Gourmet, in Greenwich, NY.

Puckers features old world lacto-fermented sour pickles, sour kraut & kimchi barrel cured in authentic Kentucky oak whiskey barrels.

Thank you so much for being a part of our big day.
We are excited to see what the future holds.

Thanks to the Washington County LDC, the dream of providing hgih quality custom carding and spinning services for fiber farmers in the County is becoming a reality. Battenkill Fibers’ unique equipment required very special financing to support its purchase and installation. The LDC was willing to work with us to support the county’s growing value-added agriculture; and fill this important niche – locally. As a result, we’ve already created five new jobs at our mill in Greenwich.
