Home delivered meals provide a hot noon-time meal that meets the Federal Nutritional Standards of 1/3 the Recommended Daily Allowance for optimal nutrition. Meals are delivered to Washington County residents age 60 and over, regardless of income and who, by reason of incapacitating mental or physical illness and/or disability, cannot prepare meals for themselves or attend a congregate meal site.
The suggested contribution is $3.00 per meal. No one will be denied a meal because of inability or unwillingness to contribute.
Service is provided Monday through Friday and is initiated after an in-home assessment is completed by trained staff.
Update: Due to COVID-19 Pandemic- Eligibility requirements are waived. Any Washington County resident age 60 and over can receive Home Delivered Meals. Please contact our office Monday thru Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm at (518)746-2420 to set up delivery.
